Winner (chosen by random.org) Announced: Friday, Dec 7th @ Cardz TV

Here's my "To Die For" project:

If you are a regular visitor to my blog, you will know that I do not own a lot of dies, but I wanted to branch out.  I found this gorgeous poinsettia die from Memory Box at my LSS.  I knew I needed it :)  My favorite poinsettia's are white with a little bit of pink, so I decided to make one of those.

I cut out the Poinsettia's with my Big Shot and inked the edges in pink.  The green leaves are also inked.  I cut the centre out of SU brushed gold and held it all together with a gold brad.  I tried them on two different papers embossed with Cuttlebug folders.   The sentiment is from my absolute favorite of Mary's "Classic Christmas"  I love every sentiment in this set!  You can buy your own set HERE.

Ch#48: Forgotten Stash
Create any type of project using some of your Forgotten Stash.

StartsFriday, November 30rd 12:00 am EST
Ends: Thursday, December 6th, Noon EST
Winner (chosen by random.org) Announced: Thursday, December 6th late afternoon

Here is what I came up with for this project:

I used a ton of forgotten stash for this one!  The patterned paper is from a christmas pad I bought a couple of years ago, I found it at the bottom of a pile of paper on my extra table - it's amazing how much paper I own...   The little gems had fallen off my table in behind a set of drawers that keeps more paper - I found them while I was straightening up and the reindeer is from Doodlecharms - it is a cartridge I haven't used in a while.

The tag is cut from Plantin Schoolbook.  The cardstock is all from Recollections and the ribbon is from Michael's.  I did some doodling around with my Sakura Jelly Roll pens and the sentiment is from Whimsical Designs Snow Much Fun stamp set and I embossed it with a white embossing powder.

Happy Friday everyone!  This is the first of 3 posts for me today, so be sure to check back often!  Today is my day to share a project over on Exploring Cricut.  Here is what I came up with:

I decided to make a cute little cocoa holder.  The cup is from Winter Frolic and the cute little face is from Wide Eyed Kids from Peachy Keen Stamps.  I kind of followed THIS tutorial from My Pink Stamper.

Here it is with the hot chocolate peeking out.  I think I am going to make these as little Teacher Gifts this year.  They are very quick and easy to put together and what could be better on a cold winter evening :)  The sentiment come from Whimsical Designs Snow Much Fun stamp set.

Be sure to pop by Exploring Cricut every day, there is always inspiration for you there!

A challenge or two for my little cocoa holder:
Simon Says - anything goes
Deep Ocean - pastel colors

My Crazy Life...

Happy Thursday everyone!  Sorry this has been such a quiet week on my blog - I am in the midst of a CRAZY work schedule - 11 12 hour shifts in 15 days - I am barely able to get my kids to school and keep the house from being sucked into the void... I'm sure you know how it is...

I will have some projects in the next few days - 3 tomorrow, one Saturday and 2 next Monday, so after a slow week, the next few days - busy!  I hope you are all having a great time getting ready for the upcoming Christmas season!  I have so many fun things planned for the kids, that I can barely wait!

Here is a quick pick of the family that we had done during our family photo shoot last month - I can't believe how big my babies are!  Now to find the time to scrapbook this picture!

See you all tomorrow :)

Happy Harvest - Exploring Cricut Thanksgiving

Happy Monday!  This is my first of two posts for today.  If you are looking for my Paper Playtime Anything goes project, please click HERE.  It is challenge day over at Exploring Cricut.  Today's challenge is to create a Thanksgiving project.  Now, Thanksgiving was 6 weeks ago here in Canada, so I decided to make a Harvest card - after all - that's what's Thanksgiving is celebrating the gifts of the harvest.  Here is what I came up with:

Isn't she cute?  I cut her at 4 inches from Simply Charmed.  The mat that she is on is from Elegant Edges.  The patterned paper and the brown card stock are from CTMH, the rest of the paper is from SU.  The brown ribbon is from Michael's.  The sentiment is from My Craft Spot's Happy Fall.  I did some doodling with my white Sakura Jelly Roll pen, and I inked the edges of the mat with my Walnut Distress Ink.  The little gems are from my local Dollarama.

Be sure to pop over to Exploring Cricut, see what the DT came up to inspire you, and remember to pop by there daily, there is new Cricut project EVERY day!

Got Game? - Teddy Bear Parade Blog Hop Day 3

For Paper Playtime's Autumn Colors click HERE.
For Exploring Cricut Veterans Day click HERE.

Happy Monday everyone, I am BEARY happy to see you!  Welcome to the Teddy Bear Parade Blog Hop!!  A bunch of us, fell in love with the Teddy Bear Parade Cricut Cartridge when it was released, and Miss Janis came up with the brilliant idea to have a blog hop with all our fellow teddy bear lovers, so here we are!  It is day three of the Blog Hop, and if you have come from the talented Sharon's blog, then you are in the right spot.  Here is what I came up with:

I am the wife of a Steeler's fan, the mother of a Dolphin's fan, and am a Jet's fan myself - I decided to make this cute card for my hubby.  I cut my Steeler and all his accessories at 3 1/2 inches.  The cardstock is all from Recollections.  The patterned paper is really old Creative Memories - yes, I know I have a problem - I think there might be a suppost group...  The doodling is done with my Sakura Jelly Roll pens and the sentiment is from a new set that Mary created called Fun and Games.  It will be available soon in her store, which you can find HERE.

The next stop in the hop is Jessi's blog blog.  I have included a list of all the crafters who are playing with us today, just in case you get lost.  I hope you have loved all the cute project we shared with you over the last three days - I think this is one of the cutest cartridges Cricut has come out with, and I think it's possibilities are endless!!  I will be creating much, much more with this adorable cartridge!
